Algoa FM Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. Promotion Period: The “Win Your Rental Back” promotion (“Promotion”) begins at 00:01 on May 25, 2024, and ends at 23:59 on October 31, 2024 (“Promotion Period”). All times are South African Standard Time.
  2. Eligibility: This Promotion is open to all individuals who are legal residents of South Africa and are aged 21 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Pace Car Rental, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), and household members of each such employee are not eligible.
  3. How to Enter: To enter the Promotion, participants must:
  • Listen to Algoa FM for the promotional code.
  • Use the promotional code when booking a rental vehicle online or over the phone.
  • Complete their vehicle rental booking for the Gqeberha branch during the Promotion Period.
  1. Qualifying Rentals: Only bookings made with the promotional code, for rentals commencing and concluding within the Promotion Period, and originating from the Gqeberha branch, will qualify for entry into the Promotion.
  2. Exclusions: The Promotion applies only to the base rental cost of the vehicle. Additional charges, including but not limited to optional extras, fuel, additional driver fees, and damage or loss of the vehicle, are not included and will not be reimbursed.
  3. Winner Selection: All qualifying entries will be entered into a random draw. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The draw will be conducted by Pace Car Rental, whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of the potential winner are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
  4. Winner Notification: The winner will be announced on Pace Car Rental’s official social media platforms during the first week of November 2024. The winner will also be notified directly via the contact details provided at the time of booking. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  5. Prize: The winner will receive a refund equivalent to the base rental cost of their vehicle rental. The prize will be processed within 30 days of the winner confirming their acceptance of the prize.
  6. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, virus, or other technical problem, Pace Car Rental may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
  7. Publicity: Participation in the Promotion constitutes consent to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
  8. Privacy: All personal information collected from participants will be used only in accordance with the national privacy policy laws and the privacy policy of Pace Car Rental.
  9. Governing Law: The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Terms and Conditions for the EXPAT Promotion

  1. Eligibility:
    • This promotion is valid only for clients living and working in South Africa from Russia or renters from Russia who have previously rented a vehicle from Pace Car Rental.
    • The promotion is also applicable to clients referred by the eligible individuals mentioned above.
  2. Promo Code:
    • The promo code for this promotion is EXPAT.
    • This code must be entered at the time of booking to avail of the promotional benefits.
  3. Validity Period:
    • The promo code is valid from the date of receipt of this mailer until November 30, 2024.
    • The vehicle must be booked and collected before December 1, 2024.
  4. Promotion Details:
    • The promotion offers an easy cash refund process and the option to pay for your car rental with cash or debit card.
    • The promotion applies to all eligible clients using the EXPAT promo code.
  5. Booking and Collection:

  6. Referral Program:
    • Eligible clients can refer other Russian expats living and working in South Africa.

  7. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
    • Standard cancellation and refund policies apply as per Pace Car Rental’s existing terms and conditions.

1. Promotion Overview
