Before driving off, please take a moment to review the essential information below. These rental facts are in place to protect both you and the vehicle, and form part of your agreement with Pace Car Rental.
- Use of the vehicle by an unauthorised driver voids all waivers.
- All vehicles are fitted with telematics devices to monitor:
- Driver behaviour
- Speed
- Adherence to road laws
- Accidents
- Theft
- There is an additional waiver that covers the windscreen and tyres (excl rims, hubcaps/mags, any other glass on the vehicle), which can be selected under the optional extra’s section.
- Traffic fine re-direction fees are invoiced to the renter at R350 per fine & R50 per warning (SAVE MONEY! DO NOT SPEED).
- Double liability may apply in certain circumstances (Not applicable on full cover waiver and insurance replacements).
- Non-compliance to the terms and conditions stated in this agreement may result in no waiver cover.
- All fuel will be charged from depot to depot regardless of what the fuel gauge says.
- A R100 surcharge will apply if RFID keytag is lost, damaged, or stolen.
